Vasculera cause increase bowel movements?

I had Hemorrhoidectomy and my doctor recommended Vasculera, I am having increased bowel movements in the morning (5-7) with small amount of bright red blood. I take one Vasculera every morning. The doctor took me off of my stool softeners and fiber but that has not decreased the bowel movements. I do not see this as a side effect as this supplement.
